Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026
Scope of Service Agreement
By accessing this website or scheduling plumbing services with Nashville Plumber Expert LLC, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. All plumbing services, diagnostics, repairs, and installations are governed by written job authorizations executed by property owners or authorized representatives.
Estimates & Job Authorizations
All plumbing estimates provided on-site are valid for 30 days unless specified otherwise. No mechanical or structural plumbing work begins without explicit authorization from the homeowner or authorized property manager. If unforeseen hidden complications arise (e.g. concealed subfloor rot or electrical hazards), our technician will provide an updated written scope for approval prior to proceeding.
Warranties & Craftsmanship Guarantees
Workmanship warranties cover defect-free installation according to Tennessee plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Manufacturer equipment warranties (water heaters, pumps, fixtures) are provided and backed by respective product manufacturers (e.g., Bradford White, Navien, Zoeller).
Warranty coverage requires that equipment be operated under manufacturer specified parameters, including water pressure not exceeding 80 PSI and routine annual preventative maintenance (such as water heater tank flushing and backflow prevention recertification).
Payment Terms & Invoicing
Payment is due upon satisfactory completion of authorized plumbing services unless formal commercial net billing terms have been established in advance. We accept credit cards, checks, cash, and authorized financing accounts.
Property Protection & Working Conditions
Our technicians take rigorous precautions to protect your home using drop cloths and shoe covers. The customer agrees to provide reasonable and safe access to work areas, including clear pathways to water shutoff valves, crawlspaces, attics, and utility rooms.
Permits & Municipal Compliance
Where required by Metro Water Services or local city code authorities, Nashville Plumber Expert pulls all necessary plumbing, gas, and backflow permits. Permitting fees and formal municipal inspection scheduling are disclosed upfront in project estimates.
Emergency Dispatch & After-Hours Service Terms
Emergency dispatch requests for active water disasters or main sewer blockages are subject to standard emergency diagnostic evaluations. All costs are itemized and approved in writing by the client prior to mechanical execution.
Customer Right of Cancellation
Homeowners have the right to cancel non-emergency scheduled installations up to 24 hours prior to dispatch without penalty. For custom ordered equipment (such as specialized commercial boilers or custom-fabricated grease interceptors), restocking fees may apply in accordance with manufacturer return guidelines.
Underground Utilities & Tennessee 811 Locating
For any trenching, excavation, or sewer replacement requiring ground penetration, Tennessee 811 utility locating will be coordinated prior to digging. Homeowners are responsible for identifying private non-utility underground lines (such as landscape irrigation, low-voltage landscape lighting, invisible pet fences, or private electrical feeds to detached garages and outbuildings).
Environmental Compliance & Hazardous Material Handling
Our plumbing procedures comply fully with Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) rules for proper disposal of old refrigerant heat pumps, mercury switches, and lead-soldered legacy piping. If hazardous asbestos or black mold is uncovered behind structural walls during diagnostic exploratory openings, work may be temporarily paused until specialized remediation occurs.
Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These terms and all related service agreements are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute arising from plumbing services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or binding local arbitration within Davidson County, Tennessee.
Severability & Complete Understanding
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These terms represent the full understanding between property owners and Nashville Plumber Expert LLC.
Limitation of Liability
Nashville Plumber Expert LLC is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We are not liable for pre-existing structural decay, un-permitted prior contractor modifications, or municipal water utility supply interruptions beyond our physical control.
